Up and about [Nov. 16th, 2007|11:10 pm]
Edgar, as ever, spent more time at home than he ever did at the Nexus - or anywhere else. He'd always tell Isamu to take care, have a good time, and all that when he went out, and when he came back, Edgar would always be there. Kind of reassuring, to know where he was at nearly all times.

The old man walked slowly, with a bowlegged movement down the stairs of his home, working from the third floor to the first. Anywhere else, this would be a short trip, but Edgar did like his extravagance. It was going to be a bit longer.

Finally hitting the first floor, he walked over to the kitchen. Figured if Isamu was still in the house, he was either there, or at the pools.

There's the sound of a door opening, back on the planet of dust. It's one of the doors to the only inhabited home on the whole globe.

There's the sound of boots softly traipsing on hardwood floor, and leather pants making that little shifting sound they do.

Maybe Edgar came home?

Memories released [Jul. 21st, 2007|10:27 pm]
...Bringing Isamu and Edgar back to their living room. Edgar sat on the couch, comfortable. Inviting Isamu to sit with or on him.

"You have to tell your story first."

"And I'm the lucky man, am I?" Edgar replied, moving in close to kiss her softly on the neck.

"Beautiful goddess, you are, how can I say no?" He said, putting his hands on her hips, getting a feel for them again.

He'd be lying if he said that he hadn't been looking forward to this.

Despite knowing that Nyx did not have romantic intentions at heart and that she was going to exploit Edgar's skills, Edgar really did like her. The positive attitude, the style, and, yes, she was sexy.

"Well, where do you want to go? The bar seems the most obvious choice, but I don't think you'd want to go to your job on your night off."

I understand now. I finally understand. You came to me before I was ready, that is all.

I will come to you in my own time. It might be a very long time. But I will still come to you. My body is dust for a reason - so it can come back, again and again, like the Hindu gods and goddesses, until I am ready for you. I am not soulless - I just am in an unconventional body.

Thank you for forgiving me. I am glad I understand you now, Noah. And I will come to you - I am one of your chosen children, after all.

When I am ready.

Locked to Isamu [Sep. 8th, 2006|07:31 pm]
If the bodies didn't fade away, there'd be a decent amount of corpses in Isamu and Edgar's little mall living quarters. Fights. You know. They happen.

There are also the occasional visitors. Isamu has gotten himself some new followers after some of the flare ups, and word spreads fast around here.

Edgar was sitting on the rail of the second floor, in front of an unmanned coffee shop.

He's smiling. He's been having a good time.

For anyone wondering, I have been back home.

Do not ask why.

Edgar shambled into his place - which, at the moment, was rather mansion like. But fuck climbing stairs. Off to the living room.

"Thisz m' place. Whaya think?" Edgar says, slurring with heavy alcohol on his breath.

Isamu, I don't know why, but your copy gave me back the memory box you asked for.

Both of you seem to like it very rough.

[locked from all but Isamu]You're such a narcissist, Isamu. Does this count as cheating on your boyfriend?[/lock]

Watching the pocket universe is oddly calming.

Perhaps I should find a relationship. Perhaps not.

((Edit: OOC, but I think you'd like this, Isamu-mun!))

Nexus prompt [Jul. 30th, 2006|10:28 pm]
[5] solecism \SOL-uh-siz-uhm\, noun:
1. A nonstandard usage or grammatical construction; also, a minor blunder in speech.
2. A breach of good manners or etiquette.
3. Any inconsistency, mistake, or impropriety.

And so the past goes on and on, longer than the present, and it will last forever, wheras the future will come, and crumble into nothingness underneath the weight of history. )

Respond to this post and I will give you the three words (or phrases) that I think MOST accurately describe you.

The cost? You have to return the favor by posting this in your own journal.

((I finally got my copy of Phantom Dust back! I've been playing through it again for the last couple of hours, getting a better grip on Edgar's character and such.

Things noticed:

1) Phantom Dust is clearly among my top 10 favorite games of all time. Maybe even in the top 5.

2) I really really want to play Mikan or Tsubutaki as well. They have such fucking fantastic stories and are so goddamned intriguing and CREEPY.

3) OH GOD THE LAST SERIES OF FIGHTS ARE THE MOST ANNOYING FUCKING THINGS EVER

4) The whole story is so damned sad. ;_;

5) The ending to Phantom Dust is the SADDEST, most PERFECT THING EVER. (Sub-note: The ending music? So simple, yet SO AWESOME)

6) HUBWAHGGHHH I WUVS THIS GAME
))
